Reading through the 10 pages one meets a vibrant and substantial range of Hopi governmental services and community activities. However I wondered what happened to the Hopi Cultural Preservation Office (HCPO)? Does that part of Hopi government exist or is HCPO part of another department in Hopi government.

Also, the Hopi Department of Education being awarded a $1.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education for the training of certified Hopi Elementary School Educators for six Hopi elementary schools is impressive.

I hope you continue to post this monthly pdf from the Hopi tribal government.

Thanks

Seems the advantages of being out of sight and out of mind for most of the population aren't necessarily advantages when the out-of-sight geography includes something a multi-national corporation wants. All those city folks needing to keep the air conditioners turned down to 70 and to be able to light up the hair dryers every morning probably never ask themselves where the electricity popped out of the ground and hopped into the wires they plug things into.

One more bug on the windshield of civilization.
