Information to the whereabouts of the long lost Hopi village of Los Angeles has surfaced in the L.A. Times. But think twice if you would like to live there. Rent is steep! Check it out: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/home_blog/2011/12/atwater-bungalows.html

It is interesting how Californians live many dreams from elsewhere, a Hopi Village or De Anza Days were common in the past. Perhaps it is true, as most Californians are from somewhere else they would rather not be.
Phil, thanks for your comment. California is home to Disneyland, after all.
If its Hopi Village, where are the Hopi?
