Consultation and other fees vary depending on the situation and project. Here are a few common services (and rates) that Beyond the Mesas, LLC currently offers.

Consultation: $100 per hour, billed in 30-minute ($50) increments. Includes consultation over Zoom/phone, and time spent writing, researching, etc.

Book Manuscript Review: $400-$750 (depending on length). Includes a thorough review of the manuscript and feedback for the author. For shorter children’s books: $250-$350 (depending on length)

Book Endorsement: $100 (if not part of the above Book Manuscript Review). Endorsements will be from Matthew Sakiestewa Gilbert. This fee include’s the time for Matt to read the manuscript and write a thoughtful “blurb” suitable for publication on a book or website.

Freelance Article Writing: $300 per article up to 500 words, $50 per additional 100 words thereafter.

Online Courses: $70 (8 lesson course) or $40 (4 lesson). All courses are offered through Beyond the Mesas, LLC.

Speaker: $800-$1800 (in person), $350-$600 (Zoom)

Expert Witness: $350 per hour, billed in 30-minute ($175) increments. Includes all work involving federal, state, and tribal cases.
